North coast karate superstar Dzemil Muric won the recent KSA national Elite 2016 championships hosted at the DUT sports centre having demolished all opposition with an outstanding performance
The Ashton college student also had a double celebration as he successfully graduated to a 2nd Dan black belt under visiting Japanese chief instructor master Murakami Manabu in August 2016

Tongaat’s karate kid 10year old Sazi Mcambi was crowned KSA national champion at last week ends development championships held at the Tongaat sports centre
Sazi a Victoria Primary School pupil demolished all opposition from throughout the Republic to win the National title “gold medal” in his category
The KSA development champion Sazi Mcambi regularly attends karate classes at the SKISA karate club in the Tongaat’s sports centre under the watchful eye of the KSA president Sonny Pillay Hanshi and world champion Sensei Njabulo Khumalo
“Sazi is a very talented karateka who is destined for a very successful future in the sport” said World champ Sensei Khumalo
Sazi who rarely misses a karate class expressed his delight in being crowned SA champ “I want to go to the OLYMPICS as I heard the great news that karate is now an Olympic sport “ said the very excited Sazi Mcambi

SKISA KSA ALL STYLES NATIONAL (WKF) CHAMPIONS
Skisa Isipingo karate club produced another SA all styles champion in Urick Naidoo last wk end at the KARATE SOUTH AFRICA NATIONALS in 2010 Urick's brother Aston won the SA title in PE (eastern cape) Urick an Isipingo secondary school pupil demolished all opposition on his way to the winning the prestigious SA title in the under 55kg (13yrs division )at the nationals that was hosted in Cape Town Kzn (KER) team manager and personal instructor of Urick Naidoo sensei Bradley Naidoo was full of praise for his prodigy who is hugely talented and following in his brother's footsteps the 2010 SA CHAMPION Aston Naidoo PROTEA and head coach of KZN (KER region ) Sensei Brando Pillay who coached the KZN fighters at the said nationals said "URICK who brought honor and glory to our KZN province will soon achieve his PROTEA colours"
